Bambooscope

Bambooscope is a reusable, lightweight, and easily sterilizable video laryngoscope built from modular parts: a bamboo body, a steel straw, an elastic band, a probe, and a common smartphone for video output. Developed with anesthesiologists, patients, and designers, it makes a critical medical tool accessible for operating rooms in developing countries. The open and simple build uses recyclable materials and can be assembled by anyone at a fraction of the cost of traditional devices.
